Voxel is the first transqueer-inclusive community of Trento for all women who want to learn or improve their coding and software development skills. We hold coding bootcamps, software development courses and events to introduce you and make you excel in the tech world. Come get to know us!
Women in tech are not many. Not for long.
Today, women are underepresented in the tech world, both at management level and inside tech teams. We believe that change starts from every woman who decides to make our workplaces welcoming for everybody - regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, or religion.

Voxel is empowerment
Voxel is a community in Trento that wants to empower women coders and software developers, as a community and as individuals. We want to bring change inside company cultures, policies and work processes that discrimnate women.
Voxel is intersectional
Voxel is intersectional. We aim to create a space and a well-rounded approach around the underepresentation of women in tech and software. And this means that we work to include everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, or religion.
Voxel is the change you want to see in the world
Once we change ourselves and our workspaces, we can change the whole industry. And this means listening, asking, answering, supporting and participating. Being dutiful and helpful. Being open, honest and respectful.
What we do
Small events, big opportunities.
Each of us Voxels takes small decision that have an impact on a bigger scale. Like following an online software development course, joining a coding bootcamp, sharing knowledge on programming and algorithms or developing open-source projects.
We deeply believe that these small actions inspire other Voxels to become more confident and capable, changing the status quo over time. And that's what we do during our evening events.
đ We hold meetings where we share our knowledge, develop software projects or get our hands on code all together or by yourself
đ We have coding bootcamps where you can develop amazing software projects in a small time frame with the help of other Voxels
đ We gather and share resources on software development, coding and more, allowing you to access high-quality and highly competetive industry knowledge
đ We hold meetups with other women working in the tech and software world, to get in touch live with their personal stories and their approach
đ We give access to a GitHub forum to all those who joined at least one of our events - so you can keep the conversation going with the other Voxels after or in between our events
